The STRIVE Initiative was proud to participate in the Hobart’s Run Open House, where STRIVE students energized the event by serving as the DJs and creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for community members in attendance. The open house provided an opportunity for guests to learn more about the mission and impact of Hobart’s Run, highlighting its work in community engagement, neighborhood revitalization, and economic development throughout Pottstown.
In addition to showcasing local programs and partnerships, the event officially introduced Alyssa Slade as Hobart’s Run’s new Executive Director of Community Engagement and Economic Development. STRIVE students not only demonstrated their technical DJ skills but also modeled professionalism, creativity, and youth leadership, reflecting The STRIVE Initiative’s ongoing commitment to empowering young people through hands-on workforce experiences while supporting meaningful community-centered events.
