STRIVE students took an active role in the annual Trunk or Treat on High Street in downtown Pottstown, a community wide event that brings together local nonprofits and businesses to create a safe, festive experience for families. As part of the celebration, STRIVE students hosted live DJ sets on behalf of the VIBE Creative Social Innovation Hub, adding energy, music, and youth-led creativity to one of Pottstown’s most anticipated fall traditions.
By leading live DJ performances in a public, high traffic setting, STRIVE students gained real-world experience in event production, sound management, and audience engagement. Their participation reflects STRIVE’s commitment to pipeline programs that place students in authentic community experiences where creativity meets leadership and service.
Events like Trunk or Treat on High Street allow STRIVE youth to contribute meaningfully to the community while building confidence, professionalism, and career ready skills through hands-on learning.
