The STRIVE Initiative is proud to highlight its growing partnership with the KB Foundation, which recently welcomed STRIVE students for an engaging Lunch & Learn field trip experience. This collaboration is rooted in a relationship built over the past two years between STRIVE Founder and Executive Director David Charles and KB Foundation Founder Kirk Berry, grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and a commitment to youth empowerment.

During this time, David has been a dedicated monthly supporter of the KB Foundation and an active presence at many of its fundraising and community events, deepening the connection between both organizations.

That relationship has now evolved into a meaningful partnership designed to expand access and opportunity for youth from Pottstown. Through KB Foundation, hosted Lunch & Learn events, STRIVE students are exposed to professional environments, real-world career conversations, and mentorship-driven learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

These immersive field trips now provide Pottstown students with the chance to ask questions, build confidence, and envision future pathways while connecting with community leaders and professionals. Together, The STRIVE Initiative and the KB Foundation are creating intentional spaces where young people can learn, network, and be inspired to strive for what’s possible.
