STRIVE students recently attended an exciting Temple vs. Buffalo men’s basketball game, thanks to an invitation from the KB Mentoring Foundation. The experience gave students the opportunity to witness high level collegiate athletics up close while engaging in a positive, high energy environment that emphasized teamwork, discipline, and school pride. For many students, the outing served as meaningful exposure to college life and the possibilities that exist beyond the classroom.
Hosted at Temple University, the game featuring the University at Buffalo basketball program provided a powerful backdrop for mentorship and inspiration. Through this experience, STRIVE students were able to connect athletics to broader life lessons around commitment, leadership, and goal-setting.
