Students from The STRIVE Initiative, in partnership with the Pottstown School District, recently took part in a college field exploration experience at Montgomery County Community College, visiting both the Pottstown and Blue Bell campuses. During the trip, students explored music and video production programs, toured professional-grade studios and learning spaces, and engaged with the college environment to better understand expectations at the postsecondary level.
The visit gave students a firsthand look at how creativity, technology, and education intersect beyond high school, reinforcing the real-world relevance of their current multimedia work.
For STRIVE students actively developing skills in music, video, and digital media, the visit represented a critical next-step conversation about life after high school. By seeing themselves in college level creative spaces, students were able to connect their hands-on experiences at STRIVE with achievable academic and career pathways.
This joint visit between STRIVE and Pottstown School District reflects a shared commitment to early exposure, informed decision-making, and empowering youth to confidently pursue futures in multimedia, production, and creative industries after graduation.
