STRIVE proudly participated in Pottstown GoFourth, joining the community celebration with students, partners, and supporters throughout the annual Fourth of July Parade and festivities at Memorial Park. STRIVE students marched alongside community partners including the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation, helping represent youth voice, creativity, and community pride during one of Pottstown’s most celebrated traditions.
In addition to participating in the parade, STRIVE’s photography students were actively working throughout the event, capturing moments from the parade and community activities while gaining hands-on, real-world experience. STRIVE also hosted a booth representing STRIVE Initiative, engaging families and community members in conversation about its creative pipeline programs.
This experience reflects STRIVE’s mission to place students in authentic community settings where they can develop professional skills, build confidence, and contribute meaningfully to local events that celebrate unity, service, and civic pride.
