STRIVE students played a dynamic role in supporting school dances at Pottstown Middle School by leading live DJ sets, capturing event photography, and producing video and podcast-style content throughout each celebration. Their involvement helped transform school dances into high-energy, student-centered experiences, using music and media to create a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encouraged connection, expression, and school pride.
Through hands-on roles in live sound, photography, videography, and digital storytelling, STRIVE students gained real-world experience in event production and creative media. These opportunities reflect STRIVE’s pipeline approach to youth development, placing students in authentic settings where they build confidence, professionalism, and transferable career skills.
