STRIVE recently participated in a Virtual Student Appreciation Family Event hosted at Pottstown High School, creating an engaging and welcoming space for virtual students and their families to connect with school and community resources. STRIVE students, supported by Dr. Latanya White Springfield, led live DJ sets throughout the event, using music to energize the atmosphere and showcase youth leadership and creativity in a school-based family engagement setting.
In addition to providing live entertainment, the STRIVE team shared information about its Multimedia Career Exploration (MCE) and mentorship programs, helping virtual students and parents learn about opportunities for creative skill-building, mentorship, and real-world experiences.
This family-focused event reflects STRIVE’s commitment to meeting students where they are creating inclusive spaces that blend creativity, connection, and access to opportunity. Through student led DJing and meaningful outreach, STRIVE continues to empower young people while strengthening partnerships with schools and families.
