The STRIVE Initiative is proud to announce the receipt of a 2026 grant award from the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation (PRCF), continuing a partnership that has been instrumental to STRIVE’s growth and impact since 2018. For nearly a decade, PRCF has consistently invested in STRIVE’s mission to empower youth through mentorship, creativity, and community centered opportunities, helping students across the Pottstown School District discover their potential and prepare for long-term success. This renewed support reflects PRCF’s deep trust in STRIVE’s leadership, programming, and long-term commitment to serving Pottstown’s young people.
The 2026 PRCF grant provides essential funding for STRIVE’s Middle School to Mastery: Created For Greatness (CFG) Youth Mentorship, SEL Programs and organizational operations, allowing the organization to sustain high-quality, year-round programming. Through STRIVE’s Student Success Pipeline, youth receive mentorship, academic support, and career exploration opportunities that guide them from middle school into high school and toward postsecondary pathways.
In 2024 alone, more than 250 students benefited from STRIVE programming, building resilience, independence, confidence, and a stronger sense of belonging. STRIVE’s impact is measurable and meaningful. Middle school participants demonstrated a 25% increase in positive behaviors and a 20% decrease in disciplinary incidents, while at the high school level, seniors successfully transitioned into postsecondary education, including enrollment at Montgomery County Community College.
Programs such as Created for Greatness provide in-school mentorship focused on trust-building and personal development, while the Multimedia Career Exploration Program exposes students to creative career pathways including podcasting, DJing, photography, videography, and theatre arts. Additional initiatives like World Mentor and Community Conversations connect students with professionals and civic leaders, expanding representation, civic engagement, and real-world learning.
This grant is more than funding, it is a reflection of shared values and a collective vision for youth success. The STRIVE Initiative is deeply grateful to the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation for its sustained commitment and partnership.
