The STRIVE Initiative is proud to announce continued support from HealthSpark Foundation through the Dr. Frank E. Boston Black Justice Fund, marking our second grant award from HealthSpark. This investment reflects a deep belief in STRIVE’s mission to empower youth through mentorship, creative workforce development, and community-centered programming in Pottstown and throughout Montgomery County.
The Dr. Frank E. Boston Black Justice Fund was created to advance racial justice, equity, and community-led solutions and STRIVE’s work sits squarely at the intersection of youth voice, access, and long-term community health.
Unlike project-restricted funding, this grant provides critical general operating support, allowing The STRIVE Initiative to sustain and grow all programs and core operations. HealthSpark’s continued partnership strengthens our ability to mentor youth year-round, expand multimedia workforce pathways, activate community spaces, and respond flexibly to emerging needs across the communities we serve.
This level of trust-based funding is transformational, it ensures that STRIVE can remain focused on impact, innovation, and youth leadership while building long-term organizational stability. We are deeply grateful to HealthSpark for its continued confidence in our work and for standing alongside STRIVE as we build a more equitable, creative, and connected future for our young people and our community.
