STRIVE students proudly participated in Pottstown National Night Out, an annual community event held each year on the first Tuesday in August that brings together families, local organizations, and public safety partners to strengthen neighborhood connections and promote community safety. As part of this year’s celebration, STRIVE students hosted live DJ sets throughout the event, helping to create an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for families and youth gathered for an evening of music, activities, and connection.
In addition to DJing, STRIVE students also hosted an interactive community engagement table designed to make learning fun and accessible. Children were invited to participate in quick math challenges and games, earning on-the-spot prizes such as school supplies and small rewards for correct answers and participation.
This hands-on approach reflects STRIVE’s commitment to blending creativity, education, and service, using events like National Night Out to empower students as leaders while engaging younger children in positive, confidence-building learning experiences.
