CFG Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

Pottstown Middle School students and mentors from the Created for Greatness program ventured to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom for the day. This trip was planned to encourage students about the upcoming school year and reconnect mentors for a special day of bonding and community building.

Local businesses helped sponsor our trip, wanting to participate in helping STRIVE to build meaningful relationships, that eventually restore our community. We are grateful for all the support to make this possible.

CFG Meet the Mentor

Pottstown Middle School students meet future mentors in the cafeteria for coffee, orange juice, donuts, and lite background music for the first time. Mentors connect with all middle school students and staff in the cafeteria during 5-6-7-8 grade lunch periods.

CFG: Mentor Training

Community members met multiple times for training and check-in sessions for the mentoring program. Discussed topics about understanding middle school students, how to engage in conversations while connecting at lunch time, Social Emotional Learning, national and local Pottstown Middle School statistics and general pros and cons about program.
